Yonamine — artist, works with painting, drawing, graffiti,
photography, video, and other media, such as tattooing. Lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal, and Luanda, Angola.
Kirill Savchenkov – artist, works in photography, video,
objects, texts, installation, and performance. He explores the notion of memory, how
environment influences experience and human psychology, the relationship between
social space and construction of identity and knowledge in marginal communities and subcultures. Lives and works in Moscow.
Harun Farocki (1944, Novy Jičín, Czech Republic – 2014, Berlin, Germany) – film
director, screenwriter and media artist. He made over 90 films, the vast majority
of them short experimental documentaries.
Susan Schuppli — artist-researcher and writer. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies & Research Architecture (Goldsmiths, University of London, 2009) and is Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director of the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths, University of London. In her projects she uses media artifacts – photographs, film, video, and audio transmissions – for examining material evidence from war and conflict to environmental
disasters. Lives and works in London, UK.
Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme — artists, live and work between Ramallah, Palestine, and New York, USA. Work together across a range of media like sound, image, text, multimedia installations and
performance practices.
Yvonne Rainer — dancer, choreographer, and
filmmaker. Lives and works in New York, USA. Her work has been foundational across
multiple disciplines and movements: dance, cinema, feminism, minimalism, conceptual
art, and postmodernism.
Kurt Schwitters — German artist. Schwitters worked
in several genres and media, including Dadaism, Constructivism, Surrealism, poetry, sound, painting,
sculpture, graphic design, typography, and installation art.
