Florian Graf. Born in 1980 in Switzerland. Got a degree in architecture in Switzerland and studied in art schools
in the UK and the USA, through Fullbright program as well. Has participated in more than 70
collective exhibitions, including three Russian ones. His solo exhibitions took place in Switzerland,
United Kingdom, Germany, the USA and other countries, some of them were timed to coincide
with Art Bazel, Art Chicago, and other events.
Florian Graf studies the relationship between man and architecture and psychological and emotional
influence that architecture has on us. He doubts visible and invisible systems of which life is
comprised; explores how private and collective thought is changed under the influence of recreated
reality.
Florian Graf pushes together architecture and social environment by interrupting and integrating; he
creates poetic space where imagination and dreams come to life.
As part of the Artist-in- Residence program of the Ural Biennial, Florian Graf creates an interactive
sculptural object.
