Daniil Akimov

Daniil Akimov was born in 1976 in Kaliningrad. In 1999 he graduated from the Faculty of Fishing Industry of the Kaliningrad State Technical University. Since 2004 he is a researcher of Kaliningrad (now Baltic) branch of the State Center for Contemporary Art. Curator of projects related to experimental music, sound art, cinema and fashion. Participant of various group exhibitions: Enklawa | Anklav (Uyazdowsky Castle Center for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, 2011); 6th International Symposium of Contemporary Art Alanika (Vladikavkaz, 2012); Telling the Baltic in Gdansk (Science and Technology Park, Gdansk, 2012); Made in Kaliningrad (Center for Cultural Communication of Klaipeda, 2013; Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts, Tbilisi; Pärnu City Gallery, 2015); The Baltic House Lab (St. John's Church, Gdansk, 2015). Forensic Oceanography
