Gleb Ershov (born in 1964 in Ulan Bator, Mongolia). In 1982 he graduated from Secondary Art School named after B.V.Ioganson. In 1989 he graduated from the Department of Art History of Leningrad State University In 1989-91 he worked in the Department of Prints of the Public Library named after M.E. Saltykov-Shchedrin (The National Library of Russia). In 1991-2001 he worked as a teacher at the Department of the History of Domestic and Foreign Culture of the Polytechnic University. In 2001-2003 he was a teacher at the Department of Art History of the non-state institute Higher Religious Philosophical School. From 2003 to 2013 he was an associate professor of the Department of Art History of Staint Petersburg State University of Culture and Art. Since 2004 he is a teacher at Smolny Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Since 1994 he is a curator of the gallery NAVICULA ARTIS. Scholarship holder of the competition of Soros graduate students and doctoral students in the field of humanities and social sciences (1997). Ph.D. in History of Arts (dissertation title: P.N. Filonov, Problems of Historiography, Worldview, Topics, and Creative Method). Organizer and curator of the International Harms Festival (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2005). Producer of performances in Museum of Petersburg Avant-Garde (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). Laureate of the S. Kuryokhin Prize for the best curator project of 2013.

From 1990 to 2015 has organized and curated more than 200 exhibitions of fine art in museums and galleries in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Leningrad region, Poland, Germany.

Author of articles and monographs on the history of Russian and foreign art. He was published in particular in the following journals and periodicals: Questions of Art Studies, Decorative Arts, Art of Leningrad, NOMi, New Russian Book, Dialogue of Arts, Prochtenie, Séance.
